Job Purpose:

Responsible for the day to day control and maintenance of the Fleet Compliance System within the Group Fleet Department ensuring compliance with corporate policy, direction and procedures. To support and assist Fleet Service managers and end users of the system with technical support. Ensure that all service documentation received is compliant and follows Group Fleet policy and legal requirements.

• To ensure that all service documentation received is fully compliant as per group policy and procedures. Responsible for producing reports to highlight areas that require improvement.
• No direct reports.
• Upon initial set up of maintenance schedules, role holder is responsible for the training on the system.
• Advisory responsibility to all end users of the Fleet Compliance System.
• Responsible for training and the on-going support to ensure group policy and legislation are met.
• External Customers are primarily service providers who input service logs onto the system. Advice and technical support provided.
• Process of setting up service schedules for all vehicles on depots. Responsible for initial set up. Three portals to the system: User (depot Manager); Repairer (service provider) and Central - Job holder.
• Process of chasing and filing service documentation including MOT's, and Maintenance history of vehicles ensuring legal compliance and compliance to company policies and procedures.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE or NVQ Level 2 standard (or the equivalent)
• Have an NVQ or similar in Road Haulage operations.
• Previous experience in a Transport role / knowledge of servicing of vehicle fleet;
• Understanding of Transport legislation.
• IT Literate;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Able to work well under pressure and have a good attention to detail;
• Methodical approach;
• Driving licence.
