An engineer with well rounded experience is required by Weh UK Ltd (www.weh.com) to manage the Weh product line of unique quick connectors used for testing and filling applications across a diverse customer base. The candidate (Male/Female) will have a sound engineering background and, ideally, knowledge of fluid power and product testing in high and low pressure applications. A basic understanding of instrumentation would also be useful for a small range of non-Weh products (www.ac-fluid.co.uk). Ideally educated to HNC level, applicants should be capable of providing technical solutions to customers’ applications and will be a key member of the team responsible for the whole sales process from prospecting to order completion. The successful candidate will have a sound industrial sales track record in direct sales. Weh UK is the UK sales office for Weh GmbH based in southern Germany. In addition to quick connectors Weh manufacture natural gas refuelling systems, Hydrogen refuelling systems, gas filling connectors and valves. The applicant should be commercially aware and IT literate as he/she will interface with most areas of a small business, with the possibility of taking full responsibility for managing all aspects of the sales and marketing of all products within a few years. Negotiable package over £30k including pension, tax beneficial car allowance, commission and bonus, after a successful trial period. The workplace is situated within 3 minutes of junction 3 of the M42 and candidates must be located within reasonable commuting distance of South Birmingham.
