Teacher of Geography required to teach across key stage 3 & 4 in a well established independant religious faith school in Birmingham.
Candidates will be required to fulfill the following duties:
-Teach Geography to classes of approximately 25-30 pupils within Key Stage Three and Four
-Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
-Maintain a professional standard of dress and behaviour
-Implement and maintain the discipline and behaviour policy of the school
-Carry out the regular duties of a teacher as much as possible i.e. attending assemblies, taking registration, enforcing school rules, observe school policy and ethos
Candidates will also be required to have the following attributes/skills:
-Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent experience
-Previous and recent teaching experience
-Effective verbal and written communication
-Strong classroom management and behaviour management strategies
-Punctuality, flexibility, professionalism and organisation
