One of the UKs global banks are currently looking for a Portfolio Manager to join the successful Commercial Banking team in Hereford and Worcester. The bank have a global coverage and offer a variety of services such as Retail Banking, Local Business Banking, Commercial and Corporate Banking, Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Private Banking and many more. This will present the potential to diversify from this role in the future and presents many opportunities for driven and ambitious individuals.
As a Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting a Relationship Manager that does both business development and relationship management with the day to day running of a commercial portfolio of 30/40 customers with an annual turnover of £million-£25million
- You will be acting as a main point of contact on the portfolio, supporting with day to day banking enquiries and maintaining the relationship with the customer
- Achieving cross sales and annual income targets with the relationship manager
- Assisting with networking through organising events and attending events
- Assisting with analysing credit applications and understand whether the bank should be lending money to the customer and what package should be put together for the customer
- Meeting customers face to face understanding their business as in depth as possible
