| Our client is a services, maintenance and building group. They provide services across the whole life of many types of buildings and infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, offices, shopping centres, airports, industrial plant, bridges, waterworks or roads. They are a FTSE 250 company with revenue of £1.7 billion and they employ approx 26,000 people worldwide The role is working from a flagship office in West Bromwich which has got easy access from both the M5 and M6 Motorways. You will be working in a large helpdesk team supported by supervisors and a Helpdesk Manager and liaising with Regional Delivery Teams, Security Managers, Cleaning Managers, IMS administration teams, Projects Delivery Managers, Business Process Managers and commercial Teams. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Manage the Helpdesk reactive work and on-call service Responsible for the co-ordination of all planned and reactive services Detailed planning and co-ordination of work with Service Managers and supply chain Support of incidental works and other new works programmes Ensure that information held on information management system (IMS) is accurate and timely Liaison with Client representatives and customers Undertake quality audit of works in progress and completed Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environment Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week including one weekend in six ( A weekend constitutes Saturday and Sunday days) Essential Technical Skills Solid experience in a similar Helpdesk/FM role (allocating and managing work orders etc) IT literate, demonstrable knowledge of operating computer aided facilities management software packages (i.e. Maximo or similar). Use of MS Office software suite. Understanding of help desk/call centre processes and work flow Desirable Technical Skills Experience in the use of mobile works management systems Holder of a full and valid driving licence Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH Package: £18,000 basic + pension + death-in-service 1st stage interviews will be taking place at Hays Birmingham between 21-27th June and 2nd stage with Interserve week commencing 27th June.
