A permanent position for a Health and Safety Co-ordinator to work with an established Midlands based Civil and waste water infrastructure engineering company.
The company is looking to recruit an individual to fulfill the role of Health and Safety Coordinator. The role will involve ensuring that all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality are co-ordinated in a focused manner in order to achieve compliance of company procedures, legislation and international standards. The successful individual will report to the Health and Safety Manager and will also work closely with the Company's Quality Representative and Divisional Managers as required. The specifics of the role will primarily involve development, implementation and monitoring of the companies Occupational Health and Safety Management System in line with BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
Essential attributes include:- NEBOSH General Certificate, previous experience in a Health and Safety related role, excellent computer literacy skills, excellent communication skills.
Desirable attributes would include:- NEBOSH Certificate in Construction, Experience within the water and /or construction industry, relevant construction or engineering related qualification, NRSWA certificate.
