| My client is a privately owned company specialising in the manufacture and erection of structural steelwork and cladding systems in both the private and public sectors.The company was founded in 1988 to meet a growing demand for quality construction services. The two directors of the company continue to move the company forward in providing a quality product at a competitive price. The company continues to expand its business by concentrating on the specific needs of the client in both the short and long term.Job DescriptionThey are now looking to recruit a Steelwork Estimator to produce steelwork estimates, who has a proven track record of working in a similar position. You will require a sound commercial awareness and technical knowledge of structural steelwork and be able to prepare estimates from tender enquiry, architects and engineers drawings, bill of quantities, contract documents and specifications and have previous experience of design and build projects. The successful candidate will be self motivated with a desire to secure work for the company. Excellent communication skills are required and knowledge of an estimating software package would be advantageous.Health and Safety discussed: a full induction will be completed upon arrival | |
