Fixed term contract to 31st March 2009

The Warwickshire Police Camera Enforcement Unit plays a vital role in reducing the number of people killed or injured on county roads, helping to support the Force in protecting the communities together.
The main focus of the post is to supervise the Camera Enforcement Officers who conduct speed checks on a countywide basis, using mobile camera and other speed detection. In connection with this, there will be a requirement to drive medium-sized vans and to handle bulky camera equipment on site. It is essential that you have proven supervisory experience and communication skills, an aptitude to judge speed and distance and to work accurately to deadlines.

There is a shift pattern covering seven days, between the hours of 6am and 10pm.
