Job Description

A Junior Sous Chef is required for this stunning prestigious hotel located in the Gloucestershire area. The hotel has superb accommodation, an award winning fine dining restaurant and small conference and banqueting facilities.

The Role: This award-winning hotel would like to appoint a Jnr Sous Chef who will be responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in running the fantastic kitchen at this property. This establishment has gained Rosette accreditation and is looking for a promising Jnr Sous Chef who has previously worked within a Rosette accredited restaurant to join the team.

Your duties will include:

  • Helping to run the kitchen
  • Manage staff on a day to day basis
  • Assist in menu planning
  • Working with fresh produce
  • Ensure the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.

Qualification/Experience: The ideal candidate will have gained previous experience within a rosette environment and possess the determination, passion and enthusiasm to succeed as a Jnr Sous Chef. You will also have NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent qualifications and a food hygiene certificate is essential.
