Fantastic Gloucestershire Manor - Strong Commis Chef wanted - £13.5K
This excellent fine dining establishment in the Cotswold countryside has gained three red stars and two rosettes for its superb service and the outstanding food produces in its kitchens. The property\'s outstanding secluded location surrounded by stunning countryside provides a beautiful getaway for the hotel\'s many guests.
The duties of this Commis Chef position will include:
-Maintaining the high standards of this establishment
* Supporting Senior Chefs
* Working on all sections as required by the Head Chef
* Preparing food prior to service
* Taking part in training and skill development
* Monitoring stick levels
* Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to
The working pattern for this position of Commis Chef Position will be five days out of seven as the business requires. Shifts will be a mixture of straight and split shifts with an average of forty eight hours per week. Commis Chef will be reporting to the Head Chef.
Candidates for this position must be strong Commis Chefs with a passion for high standards and fresh food. You must be eager and enthusiastic to improve your skills and knowledge. Candidates must have a sound grounding in the Commis Chef role within rosette standard establishments. The ability to effectively follow orders as well as to work from one\'s own initiative are prerequisites of the Commis Chef role.
