This beautiful thirteen bedroom hotel situated in a picturesque Gloucestershire Village houses a fantastic multi rosette standard restaurant. Serving innovative, fresh cuisine with an emphasis on local produce, this restaurant lead by an enthusiastic Head Chef is popular locally and regionally. The Head Chef of this great establishment is currently looking to recruit a Demi Chef de Partie to join the team and support the brigade.
Duties of this Demi Chef de Partie position will include:
- Maintaining the establishments excellent standards
- Working effectively as part of the kitchen brigade
- Working on all sections of the kitchen as required by the Head Chef
- Monitoring stock
- Working to a high standard at all times
- Supporting a Chef de Partie on a given section
- Running sections in the Chef de Parties absence
The working pattern for this Chef de Partie position will be five days out of seven as the business requires. Chef de Partie will be reporting to the Head Chef.
Candidates for this position must have a sound experience in good establishments. Applicants must be willing to learn and develop their skills in a new environment. Chefs must have the confidence and skill to assist in the running of a station. The relevant NVQ qualifications are a prerequisite of the position, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop skills are the most important qualities sought by the Head Chef.
