Job Description

This beautiful country house hotel located in the heart of the Gloucestershire area is currently seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to join their existing brigade of 6. The hotel has over 20 rooms, an award wining restaurant and conference and banqueting facilities for upto 200 people.

The Role:- This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a stunning property that has gained an excellent local reputation. The hotel\'s restaurant is accredited with AA Rosettes and therefore all candidates applying should have experience of working within an establishment of a similar standard. Working with a brigade of five chefs you will be responsible for the successful day to day running of the kitchen, from ordering and stock taking to menu planning and the training of junior members of the team. The management would like to appoint a focused and hard working individual who is capable of supporting the Head Chef in driving standards and maintaining the established reputation of the establishment.

Qualification/Experience:- You must have NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a rosette accredited or standard establishment. Those with rosette experience would be at an advantage in the recruitment process. It is also necessary that applicant\'s possess a food hygiene certificate.
