Job Description

Commercial Manager Leading electrical switchgear and protection systems company are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to define and implement commercial strategy, including the management of sales/business development activity in relation to their Medium Voltage (MV) products. This is senior and broad ranging role with duties including:- * Technical. legal and commercial analysis of enquiries * Developing offers involving commercial, technical and risk strategy * Supporting tendering activities during final negotiation stages * Analysis of sales performance and market drivers * Pricing/volume strategy for international sales You will be a commercial/contracts manager working within an engineering environment, ideally with electrical industrial product experience, and have a good appreciation of the client base which includes utilities, building services, power generation and rail industry. As part of your commercial experience you will have negotiated T&Cs, have cost optimisation and profit accountability knowledge and be able to analyse market conditions and competitor strategies. Some knowledge of MV Switchgear would also be useful.
