Role: Customer Service Advisor - Sales

Salary: £15,000 pa - Full Time (3 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Warwick Technology Park

Main Responsibilities:
• To take initial client notifications in appropriate manner, and complete accompanying electronic documentation in the Company’s in-house software systems (including banking systems)
• To work as part of a team to ensure the achievement of a set conversion rate for referrals is achieved. A ‘soft-sell’ sales technique is necessary for the role
• To be fully competent in using in-house software for administration of notification process, as well as to gather information to accurately answer client queries
• To be fully competent with call procedures for first notifications, referrals, and general client calls
• To deliver outstanding levels of service to all clients and to achieve set objectives for call quality, in line with a full understanding of ‘TCF’ guidelines (Treating Customers Fairly)
• To keep informed and updated on procedural changes and, if need be, work with section heads on these
• To liaise with other departments, requesting and delivering appropriate information in order to answer client queries
• To work within strict deadlines and adhere fully to service standard agreement
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by Operations Manager

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
• Minimum Qualifications: GCSE standard or equivalent
• I.T literacy; Microsoft Word and Outlook essential
• Proven customer service experience

Desirable:
• Proven sales and target driven experience would be an advantage, specifically within a telephone service capacity
• Experience of working within the financial services industry would be a distinct advantage
• Experience of working with in-house databases would be beneficial

Personal Attributes:
• Despite there being important deadlines to adhere to and targets to reach, a genuine customer focus is essential in this role, as is an empathetic approach
• You must have a desire to work within a telephone based customer service environment and posses a confident and polite telephone manner
• This role can be challenging in terms of the nature of the phone calls; clients may be distressed and, whilst you must offer a level of compassion, you must also remain professional and not become personally involved
• We require a driven individual who is keen to work to targets but who also takes pride in their work, always seeing a query/task through to completion
• You must also be happy to engage with your team colleagues, in order to work to achieve set objectives
• Due to the variety of queries which come through to this department, a great deal of on-the-job learning will be required, therefore, you must be capable of absorbing information quickly
• Must be able to pass Credit Check and Criminal Record Check
