Senior Credit Controller
Shirley, Solihull
£17.5K to £19K + Free Parking, Contributory Pension, Healthcare
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 pm 1 hour lunch = 37.5 hours per week
Working within a busy department
Manage credit problems
Control bad debts by ensuring that the company does not take undue financial risks or non-commercial decisions
Ensure that over 85% of accounts pay by direct debit on the due date and that rent arrears are appropriately monitored and controlled
Review of computer prints to compile accurate direct debit collection amounts and amend when necessary
Ensure cash payments are allocated
Maintain appropriate payment flags and payment structure on accounts to ensure effective collection of remittances
Monitoring problem accounts and deciding on appropriate action, documenting on the computer records and writing to the client
Credit control experience is essential
